In case you were wondering, the GTA has a really outstanding custom cafe builder, Rob Chappelle. He didn't do the CBX, but he did recently do a nice CB900:

That CB900 is beautiful.. and it'd be even nicer with a black frame and swingarm. *drool*

Check out his website. He's got a good eye for neat cable/hose routing and frame lines. Everything laid out to appreciate and still functional. Nice.

Not bad. I loved it a first glance but the more I look at it the more I see things I don't like. The way the seat/tail section meet the tank looks bad (square meets point), Put some red brembo's on the front to match the red of the shock spring (or go matching Ohlins fork/shock), etc.

It's a custom, so the customer specified it.

Here's another:

When he's not doing this, he's an instructor at Durham College and he runs a small media company. He does the bikes with his brother, who lives in LA.

This is sooo much better than that raked-out Easter Egg hard tail custom crap that polluted motorcycling for the last ten years. Thankfully, these guys have gone bankrupt.

Something wrong with your browser. Or, you need to join DTT.

I do have an account, just forgot the password. Got it reset now. Nice bike

Turns out I have a couple PMs from 2010

It's probably well over $20 000 if you could find one, but an RC 166 is the real deal. Six pistons, six pipes, seven speeds. Must have been a purely bonkers bike.
