Damn 5 degrees on the 25th and feels nice out -

Went out for just over an hour around lunchtime. It was well worth it though my hands got a little bit cold.

We might have some luck on Tuesday; I've got my fingers crossed.

hell yeah went out for 45min ride hands did get a little cold only thing that bugs me is on and off ramps are pretty dirty and cold and if u lean a little too much and are going a little to fast i did feel the rear slip a little.

I was out today - reason was to top up and add stabilizer; at least that got me out of the house, I try to ride at least once each month in the winter, but now am prepared if snow comes. I'll take the Harley out tomorrow if it's sunny to top up and Stabilize.

Crikey 9 on Wednesday

Unseasonably warm temperatures — Wednesday’s forecast high is 9 C — mean that even if the city sees some snow, it won’t last long on the ground.

got a lot done around the outside of the house ( what me procrastinate ;) )
No ride but the thought was there......don't think I can resist 9.

Not a lot of the folks here can remember Boxing Day 1964 in Ontario, but I do.
The temperature went over 50º, using the only scale that was in use in Canada.
I rode more than 50 miles, most of that without gloves.

I surely wish I still had the 1964 Honda Super Hawk I was riding that day.

Very sweet ride the Super Hawk - had a 305 as my first decent ride.
Warmest I recall in winter was a Feb 28th and it hit 20 degrees a couple years back - I have never seen so many bikes out even in the summer. Clearly everyone was itching to get the season started.

Took the track bike out for about 7-10 minutes today. Yeah yeah.. bad guy... I know, I know...
No main thoroughfares or stupid speeds. Very leisurely slow speed jaunt in a quiet area.

Not today (had to work) but I was out on the bike yesterday. It was awesome!

Santa thought it was funny ;)

I recall that stretch of warm temps. It was weird.

Took my ZRX out of storage for a day trip thru Campbellville and paid dearly with rusted calipers in the spring from not hosing it down. A few hours of bliss turned into an expensive feat.

Ouch - sure is nice looking today - 4 degrees and clear blue sky - feels very weird for this far into winter.
Did yard work the last two days....

I went to Oshawa from Pickering on the 401, and back, topped up the tank in case we get winter. Nice to let the RG stretch out.

Just be careful out there. I've seen enough entries in the fallen riders.

Other vehicles aren't expecting you to be out - not your fault - but it is a problem.

A friend got hit around this time three years ago, and he's hoping to finally get a proper season in - next year!

yea...I was out from about 3:30 to now, it was pretty good out. I even hit the 401 for about 20 minutes.

I was also out but just cruised around Etobicoke's twisty roads (Edenbridge, Riverside, Kingsway). Despite heated grips my hands have been getting too cold. Planning on ordering some Gerbings stuff soon!
