The link works for me.
Weird. Link sort of works for me but goes to "page not found".

From searching with google, the largest creditor (Carlyle Group) was owed $300M and threw in another $1 to buy Dainese. Blackrock considered swallowing CG in the past but chose not to.

It appears they took the article down.

Updated with an Italian article.

I got a translation option into English. Ownership has more links than the chain on my bike.

Eventually the links connect to Blackrock and profit is the only option.

Options include parting out bits, increasing prices, lowering costs, adding more tee shirts and licensing a beer brand.

When I was in Italy I was told the quality had gone downhill in the last few years and people weren't interested in Dainese anymore.

Then again the guy who told me that was stocking a lot of Spidi, so... I dunno.
