A 17 year old on a motorbike in Barrie is facing several charges after a police chase.

Police in Barrie got a complaint about the motorcycle being driven erratically at about 5:30 PM on
Sunday in a neighbourhood in the city's west side.

The driver wouldn't pull over when police hit their lights, and sped off down a residential street.
He eventually dropped the bike, but not before riding up onto a sidewalk and nearly running down a
pedestrian who was pushing a stroller.

He also ran the bike into a police cruiser.

Police say a small knife fell from the driver's pocket as he fell from the bike and that he struggled with
officers as he was taken into custody.

He's facing a bail hearing later today on charges of dangerous driving, possession of marijuana and
resisting arrest.

Heard my name, sadly thread wasn't about me....
In other news, some 17 yo punk bought his bike nickle and dime-ing pot and mugging ppl with a buck knife got pinched in barrie. kinda funny that he wiped out. glad he didn't hit the stroler.
