So I live out in caledon EAST, yes, Caledon East...and I have a 83 yamaha maxim xj400. Its my first bike and I'm thinkin I'm gonna keep it as a little project. Now all I'm thinkin is, would it be easier on my wallet to do it myself, or just find a motorcycle place that'll do it for me. I know that labour charges are pretty rough, but as for the machines/tools I would need to start customizing my bike, I have no idea how the prices are on those. Anyways, I'm thinkin I really wanna chop this bike up, I've seen a few tricked out 400 maxims out there, and I wanna do it up too, all the way down to the suicide shift, hope somebody can help me out!
