just wanted to know if any other factory demos are taking place during the doubleheader race weekend
I can see BMWs schedule of events any other OEs going? Japanese, European, American or any other fine nation?

any info or link would be appreciated

hope to see you there

what's also impossible to find is ticket costs...how much is this event? It just says advanced tickets are sold and we can purchase them at the gate.

I paid $50 for my bmw weekend/camping pass. So it'll be more than that I would assume.

I can only make it out on Sunday, full price still?

nvm...found it. $35 for Sunday only. Also the parade lap is BMW bikes only, what a bunch of snobs...

just put a hand coloured BMW sticker on your tank and tell them it's an imported classic.

It's a very slow parade lap and last year people lined up over an hour to get on the track and were not allowed out. Not missing anything.
Without BMW, superbike weekend would not exist.

Did the parade lap a few years ago...so slow I thought I might fall over...some guys were moving over to take a line thru 4.:)
Couple of weeks later I did some fun laps at the car race weekend....after a few laps I was flat out all the way round the track in my Porsche

thanks for all the input fellow riders
anyone make it over to CTMP today?
did see all the schedules and hoping to do demo rides in the morning and watch Canada's highest level of national roadracing in the afternoon

Just a reminder for some just going the Saturday that in previous years you have had to pay for both the Saturday and Sunday on the way in, then when you leave Saturday night they give you the Sunday fee back. Stops 100s from saying they are just there for Saturday then staying overnight for both days.

It was insanely hot. The racing was fantastic. But some riders almost passed out from the heat.
The Ninja 300 series was so much better than the old Honda 250 class.

The sound of the H2R on the Andretti straight was pornographic, sounded like an old F1 car.

Crowds are still thin compared to the past.

The pro super bike race was great to watch. Lead changed hands several times during the race with a great photo finish.

Well ..... Supposedly this is the premium race track, not only locally but canada wide, but to provide two public washrooms for the whole park and complete lack of adequte public speaker system to provide relevant commentary are I presume just few reasons. I am not gonna say large TVs or two before someone calls me crazy.

So, what you get is a crowd of people friends who hook up to go seeing and hear racers once in two or so minutes for a few seconds .... It's probably enough for an enthusiast, but for someone with choices of entertainment and not having to drive far in traffic on a busy weekend, people can do better for 35$ Per ....

It's not looking bright I would say.
