Has anyone been to Dover in the last week? How bad is HWY 6?
Here is the road work as described by the MOT lasting from June 7 2012 to April 2013.
Highway 6, From Lynn River bridge in Port Dover north to south connecting link limit of Jarvis, 12.6 kilometres. Expect delays up to 10 minutes. One lane, Speed reduced to 60 Kilometres per hour. Controlled by flagging operations in order to assist traffic control through the multiple work zones / traffic control operation starting from the north limits for asphalt paving, placement of granular material and fine grading, culvert removal / replacement / extensions, road side ditching, line painting and bridge work at the Lynn River bridge (alternating lane closures and traffic delays in coordination with the lift bridge operator).
Just how bad is it now?
