There is one slight error.... here is the correction (not sure about the distances, though!) I have made a map from 401/404 to Port Hope then to Millbrook that shows this correction...

PS: I think the route works better if you ride it opposite to the direction you have listed. When you are on County Rd 10 between Millbrook and Port Hope, you will be riding toward the lake (which can be quite scenic!) I think there are more right hand turns that way too.

My goal is to try to make sense of all these little bits of roads to make it something that can flow (connecting the dots).

Ike has provided a full loop so I've taken his road as a first example and created a first draft. This is work in progress, open to comments and suggestions.

I've added a link to this guide in the first post and I will keep updating the same link with more rides as time permit and with the contribution from members.

LoL true...but what's the point of putting curves in the road if there's nothing to go around?! That's our topography so not much we can do about it. I think there's a thread somewhere here bitching about the roads in Ontario!

True, obviously a good point actually..

My buddy was in the military in Sth Africa and he talked about the long s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t desert roads.. So straight that drivers feel asleep.. so they went back and put turns in them in purpose to keep them active..
