I've been to College Station, Texas. The only things there are the speedway and Texas A&M University (and the Hooters restaurant staffed by lovely young college co-eds). The restaurant story goes like this: we all sat down after an 8 hour WERA endurance race. I was parched, so I ordered up the largest ice tea they had on the menu. It went down easy so I ordered another one. Then I realized I couldn't get up out of my chair. The drop dead gorgeous waitress came over and started to laugh. "You ain't never had a Long Island Ice Tea before have you ?" Then she explained that it was '5 different kinds of white liquor with a little Coca-Cola in it for colourin.' Not being much of a drinker I stayed put in my chair for quite some time...
