Clothing under tracksuit

Thanks folks. I'll get some moisture wicking gear then look for a two piece. I'm more of a street rider than track but would like to do the occasional trackday.

I don't know, but after my experiences the last couple of race weekends, I would never go with a 2 piece, I like the protection the 1 pc gave me during my 2 tumbles.

MEC baselayers.

As for suits. My buddy has tested his 600$nexxo 1 piece on more than one occasion and it has held up well. And my Dainese not so well.

My Axo has survived 2 crashes in about a month, low side on the pavement and an inverted back flip in the air before hitting the ground, thing is dirty but not a single rip - By the way, thumbs up for Shark Helmets !

I had a Nexxo, awesome suit.

I'll second the cheap walmart stuff. It helps the suit slide on and more importantly off easily at a reasonable price. I have underarmour cold gear for cooler days though.

What about regular clothing? Under stuff is cool and fun, but sometimes you need something reasonably priced and comfortable that isn't too formal and looks even better with some grease on it!

Trackside Cuts makes custom T-shirts, Hoodies, Pit-Shirts and other stuff. Really cool for those who have their own race teams/names or want to help promote their supporters. Or if you want something cool and original for yourself.

i bought these at walmart for like 25 bucks http://www.amazon.com/Everlast-Compress-X-Bike-Shorts/dp/B004HR4Y9U/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
and just used a dryfit shirt. my race suit has a built in liner so it doesnt stick anyway. yeah everlast cycling shorts.

Oh yeah. I also found these guys on ebay. im going to place an order for a couple of my friends and myself too.

will let you know how they work out.

Cheers

I couldn't imagine how hot it would be wearing cotton under my leathers.

I didn't say to wear under your leathers, I meant to wear OVER your undergarments in between sessions/lunchtime/after riding.

Dry Fit is nice, but not on it's own if it's too cool/windy outside and you're walking around half suit down

Well then, why didn't you say so.

UA top and bottom. I've used that cheap Walmart variety and it doesn't compare for sweat wicking, washability and durability. I also have a Helly Hansen set, and again, UA beats it by a landslide. Well worth the extra $, and they often have it on sale for decent prices at Sport Chek.

walmart spandex pants and a lululemon compression top(got it as a gift)

would love to try the vnm/pug/ua but just can't justify the cost outta my race budget

I'm with ya. I have ua from the outlet stores in the states but other than that the cheap Walmart stuff works just fine.

Costco has has some good drifit stuff lately too.

Get some TNA pants to go with your lulu gear and you'll be the talk of the paddock.

Don't forget to bend over to show some arse
