Cleaning and detailing

I picked up some S100 at Royal Dist. this weekend and gave it a try. Wow, what an amazing product. I had been on a 1500 KM Pennsylvania trip the previous weekend and had lots of chain fling, road grime, and bugs covering the bike. I sprayed it on, gave it a bit of rubbing with a soft cloth on the front fairing to work the bugs a bit and hosed it off. I couldn't believe how bright the sprocket looks after the cleaning. I didn't rinse it off my driveway very well and it left some marks but I assume today's rain will take care of that. If not, I'm going to have to take it to the coin wash next time.

Got to give it a good rinse - a really good rinse. I'd avoid the hi-pressure spray though.
I used the stuff on the engine / engine bay of my pick up the other day. It's only 3 yrs old, but the dirt looked 100yrs old. Now, it looks brand new again.

Just to clarify, the stains were left on the asphalt not the bike. Yesterday's rain rinsed it off now i have a really clean driveway too. lol.

I just spray Pledge on it and polish it up. Never been through a proper soap and water wash. But I also rust proof it since I do occasionally ride when there's salt on the ground and if I washed it that thoroughly I'd just be washing off my rust proofing.

Hey Gary, is this safe for the chain? Other rubber on the bike? Tires? Wires, etc? So, you're saying I can remove the bodywork, spray all over around the engine, wheels, etc, and then rinse, and that would be totally ok? I hate cleaning the bike, so it stays dirty. This could be the miracle I've been waiting for.

Apparently it's fine for the bodywork as well. Just make sure the bike is cool to the touch and rinse it immediately. It makes the chain and sprockets very clean.

I came across a great product at Friday the 13th in Port Dover by Wizards Products. I purchased the Bike Wash and Mist 'n Shine. They worked awesome on all of my bike surfaces - glass and chrome included. I would totally recommend this product to anyone, as my bike has never looked so good.
