Besides the typical places is there any other websites you guys visit to search?

So far I'm checking: GTAM classified section, kijiji, craigslist (not that usefull) and finally Autotrader (again pretty useless) are there other sites that I'm missing?

Summed up mine unless I can find a local forum for the specific type/style of bike I'm looking for.

My bike is currently posted on Kijiji, GTAM and SVRider as it is a SV650 I tried a few other places and got zero hits. Autotrader was a hassle in my opinion.

If you're looking for something specific, check a dedicated web forum for that particular bike.
Also Walneck's Cycle Trader magazine may help.
Otherwise, you've covered all the bases, unless you get lucky and see a bike you want, in front of a house with a 'For Sale' sign on it.

Post on facebook. someone is bound to know somebody else who is selling.

Hey not a bad idea, never even thought of that. I got nothing to lose at this point...

Also make sure to check your search criteria / region on Kijiji. The default most people check is usually Toronto, but all of the bikes I have purchase have been from outside of the GTA. My latest acquisition was from Yarker and was a hell of a deal, mostly because people didn't want to make the drive.

Thanks for the info, I've been searching the whole of Ontario on kijiji :/. Looking specifically for a 07+ cbr 600RR under 15k price range $7k maybe a bit more, and finally in red color :| I don't think I can make it anymore difficult lol..

Sadly the one in Barrie was just sold today, what a bike!

Are you asking too much? I get tons of emails every week about mine on Kijiji. They'reall low balls but still hits .

Post up a wanted Ad. Generally, I search and search and search, and then finally give up and put up a wanted ad. Within 2 weeks I have a new bike or car. I think I have only ever bought 1 vehicle by replying to an ad. All the other ones (like, 15+ at this point) were people reaching out to me.
