Eric is a hero.
Back in the day he would put that ol' Kawi on the box... the 12 year ol' Kawi that gave every bike out there 25# and 25HP.
And EVERY weekend he had that slug on the box, apologizing on TV 'cuz his team gave him the best bike they could, Kawi gave him the best bike they could, the tires were great, the bike was on song BUT EVERY weekend there's Eric telling us it was HIS fault the bike didn't win and he will try harder next week.
The next Kawi was like 15th, but EVERY weekend Eric was putting that slug on the box and apologizing
1999 to 2003 he won 3 seconds and a championship... all the while apologizing to everyone, that it was HIS fault the underpowered, heavy, old bike didn't win more.
His brother is pretty fast too.
