Changing mufflers on a full system exhaust

I have a two brothers vale exhaust system on my 06' R6. It's a track bike and it came with the full exhaust system on it when I bought the bike. I never liked it from day one, its obnoxiously loud and I have to wear ear plugs when I'm lapping just so I can hear myself think. My biggest concern now that I am starting to go around to different track day events is the noise testing, the bike registered 109 DB at 8000rpm and with the silencer installed afterwards it 'barely' passed.

What I want to do is turf the two bros muffler and either put on another quieter aftermarket can or a stock one that won't give me trouble. I would like to know if other mufflers will fit the midpipe of the two bros full system or if they are typically proprietary pipe sizes for each manufacturer? I have tried googling around and checking the two brothers website but theres nothing on there either about pipe size or interchangeability. I measured the outside diameter of the midpipe on my bike and it is 2 1/16th inches.

Has anybody had experience with swapping out mufflers on full systems?

I've seen baffles for sale individually. Have you take a look at that?

Easiest thing would be to replace the muffler portion.....2-1/6" = 52MM ish....arka MAKES 52mm mufflers. Actually I have two Akro can's one is a 52mm.

Feel free to bring your midpipe, if it fits there are TONS of the full size cans for sale.

I have a friend who could probably sell you a silencer tip that reduces the amount of noise quite a bit.
It used to be my VALE Two brothers exhaust till I sold him the exhaust and I know for a fact that he's not using it. PM me if interested.



If you're looking to swap the exhaust can no matter what, then I can't help.

how does this sound, i have a OEM slip on for your R6 in great condition and i could sell it to you for real cheap!
