I've owned both (well, a 954 not a 929) and I would take the Honda every time. Not only will you have way more fun on the Honda you'll never go wrong owning one. I would recommend going up a couple of teeth in the back as a must do though. I had seller's remorse before my 954 was even in the buyer's truck bed!

lol!....yeah ive heard the 954 is a wicked ride a couple times.
Had no idea - I know I replaced my steering bearings with a new 929 set on the advice of a friend that raced them. AS a matter of fact, it was to help with all the front end "twitch" that was there. Dropped the front end about 1/4" or so also. I loved that bike! I still describe the exhaust (Jardine slip on) as a sucking chest wound when you went full throttle closed.
