CBR owners...Under tail or side exit exhaust?

Ok, so I've been on 600rr.net and doing a bit of reasearch on exhaust, I just recently chopped my yoshie rs-5 down 5" to make my integrated tail light more visible and it looks and sounds better, I think anyway! But being on 600rr.net I see some guys converting their tail section to the 1000 tail and having their exhaust exit out the side. Has anyone done this? I like the under tail exhaust but I also like the look of the 1000 tail on the 600 which would mean I'd have the side exit. Any thought or advice on this??
 
I'm a fan of under tail but a crappy fender kit can ruin the look easily. I've seen come RRs with out the under tail and I me it looks too empty. I'd leave but it's your bike.

Undertail is much more pleasing to me. I would leave it. Thats the one thing I love about the cbr

got a link to anyone who did the3 1000 conversion? im not going to do it but im curious. did they swap out the subframe then just bolt on all the parts?

i like the undertail exhaust.. have you seen the carbon undertail section TST makes now? i think it looks good especially with the Toce eshaust and their tail light.. one thing i dont like is the plate mounting options with the fender elim kits for the cbr. ive got a rumble concepts f/e kit on with akra exhaust..keeps it legal and looks much cleaner than oem.
i wasnt a fan of the way the yosh fit so i ponied up the dough and paid for the akra.
