Carb sync tool - possible to borrow?

Hey looking to do a carb sync, because i will be rejetting my bike. i do not want to pay a mechanic for this and would like to do it my self but dont want to purchase the tool to use once. it seems pretty elaborate, is it the kind of tool someone would lend out or let me use in their presence? or anyone have a homemade one (seems less expensive)

trying to save a few hundred bucks here.

EDIT: homemade one looks pretty easy to do on second thought.. are they reliable?

The very best tools for synching carbs are attached to the side of your head... Sometime we hold glasses or sunglasses onto our heads with them but not always... A short length of garden hose (cut at both ends) and then listen to your carbs individually until they all sound the same! Blammo! carbs synched!
