Can a Yamaha FZ6R be made fast?

Is a clam’s *** watertight?

Who cares?

Dude, you have no idea, im absolutely in love with this bike, I love Yamaha, my favorite bike is the R1, I gave a set of 18 inch chrome wheels for a car, for this bike and have been modifying it ever since. People say, what not just buy a faster bike, but see the problem with that is if I roll up on you riding a ZX6 you gonna know im fast, but if I pull up on you riding a FZ6R, you might laugh a little bit at first and say, get a real bike man lol, until you look closer and see its been modified. Some things I cant hide, like the exhaust, the handlebars and lowered front end, dude its a 600, it was tuned to be slower, now ive opened it up and its a threat to any other 600 out there, id love to smoke a ZX6 lol, i bet i can smoke a stock ZX6, im in the 502 if anyone wants to challenge me, I bet my modified FZ6R will smoke any stock ZX6. So needless to say, its quick and I love it!! Had to lower the front and put clip ons on it lol, had too, that was one of the first things I did. And that 4 degree timing advance was the single best mod I did. It now has power through all the RPMs, dump it and your going no matter what gear your in or RPM your at, swear by the 4 degree timing advance
I hope you’re having as much fun on your FZR (r) as I am following this thread!

If you ever happen to come along side an older fella on a Vstrom 650 wearing a tan jacket - honk - we’ll give her a go!

The track is always the best place for comparing member sizes.

Closed track is for the dick measuring contest, yes.

Open track / city is for seeing who has the biggest balls and/or (often both) is the most stupid.

It's all about what size of another man's junk you're most interested in.

Again, Love your style! You can always put things into an interesting perspective.

If you want to go faster for cheap focus on your riding skills. Your 600 with good tires will keep up to anything on public roadways. I had a friend that went to Freddie Spencer’s riding school in Las Vegas who was a pretty serious rider, he owned Oshawa Cycle Salvage.Middle aged, overweight Freddie rode an overweight, underpowered Honda VFR800 sport tourer. The school provided Honda 600RR sport bikes as Honda was a sponsor and some guys brought their own 1000cc sport bikes. Freddie absolutely smoked everyone around that track on his sport tourer, even the litre bikes. They don’t call him Fast Freddie for nothing.
