Can a motorcycle insurance classification be changed/fixed?

Have you asked about the Tuono 457? Maybe that will be classified differently and all it'll take is some clipons and fairings. A few 457's have shown up on tracks, so it could be possible to find the fairings used. That said, it's unbelievable how cheap Aprilia parts are from the dealer relative to other bikes.

Yeah the Tuono came back with similar quotes came back in the ~2200 range as well since naked and all.

Also that's unexpected, I would've thought Italian bike parts would be more expensive.
 
Just an FYI for anyone curious:

The IBC got back to me, turns out their database actually has the RS457 as an "Entry Sport" category which should it below the 660 and much cheaper. But they also mentioned that their data is provided to companies just as a reference, not binding in any way so guess it's just down to the insurance companies and their underwriters.
