Buying an uncertified used bike from an individual - how to proceed?

Thanks! 45 min is what I am getting unwillingly accustomed too! Wonder if they fixed problem with the kiosks issuing stickers ..

The gov't just got rid of the kiosks for good. There was an article in the star about it a month or two back. Google it.

I didn't even know you can get insurance before registering the bike, or a temporary sticker before getting certified. but no bad outcomes. it was always in the back of my mind though, super sketched out of the 5000$ fine.

Insurance co only needs the VIN, and they will require you to send a copy of the registration within x number of days.

My wife also just insured a car bought from a dealer. Had the insurance before the car was even paid for.
