Buying an Ablerta Car in Ontario?

I'm going to be buying a 07 Jetta TDI from a person here in the GTA. The car is here, with the owner, in the GTA. But the car was driven from Alberta, so it has Alberta plates and most likely insurance too. Are there any issues with this? I can't find anything in a search engine that matches what i'm searching.

Is it actually his car to sell? Are you sure? If so, take the Alberta ownership to the MTO and transfer it as you would any other used car. E-test (such as it is for s diesel) and safety certificate still apply, as do taxes.
