Buying a motorcycle from Alberta

Hey folks, I’m going to be buying a motorcycle from someone in Alberta.

I just wanted to know if there is something special in doing a cross-province purchase like that.

Apart from registering it in Ontario, is there anything else I’ll have to do?

Make sure the title is clean. Iirc, alberta allows rebuilt bikes and ontario doesnt.

If you have a friend in Alberta, have them look at it. Even someone on a motorcycle forum in Alberta might take a look for you. I reached out to snowcat once to look at a bike in Alberta. $500 later on USHIP it was in my driveway in less than a week. Transfered the ownership over with a creative receipt. No big deal.
