Has anyone seen/bought/use/know about this stand. Saw it at GP bikes today for half the cost of the Burzig one. I was gonna pick one up but the person helping me out said that it won't fit my Duc SF848.

I own one for my endurance racebike. It's great. Works well once you get used to it. Takes a little fiddling to get it perfectly adjusted. Makes moving the bike around inthe garage a piece of cake.

That looks like a Podium stand. I have one for my 1098 Streetfighter.

If that model is for any 1098 it will fit you 848.

What pins are included with that stand (what bike is it meant for)? If it won't fit your bike, see if it will accept pins from svracing to fit your bike.
 
These are Chinese knock offs. Made by sumoMoto. I got one for my bike with a Pin plate for $300US shipped and taxes Inc.

Took some time to get right but I got the right setting in the end. Half the price of motoMFG or bursig stands.

Oh, I got mine from an outfit based in Alberta who's wholesaler was in Vancouver. Couldn't find it anywhere local.
 
I have one of these too. great for moving the bike around the garage.
