Broken zipper slider - replacement

I just (stupidly) broke a zipper slider on one of my motorcycle jackets. Don't want to bother with ripping and stitching myself and cleaners/alterations places usually charge an arm and a leg if they even feel like doing it.

Found this website: https://www.fixnzipstore.com/ - universal sliders, seem to work great.

The cost is $10 + $6 shipping to Canada though. Does anyone know if I can buy a similar product locally or cheaper somewhere else?

If you're like me, you might have a few hundred key rings / key holders hanging around. They do the same thing.

edit: never mind - I think you broke more than the 'puller upper' do-hickey.

Shoe repair places! I had zipper slider replaced and realigned on the bike jacket for 10 bucks. I'm sure some of them may also sell the sliders.

Princess Auto has those universal fix zippers in the Surplus section... a few in a pack.

Yeah Gary, it's like a 2 piece slider with a cap, the cap fell off and is mangled. The puller thing is still good but I have nowhere to attach it to. I usually use big *** paper clips if it's just the "puller."

And thanks guys, good suggestions! I'll deal with it tomorrow.

My local shoe repair place replaced the zipper on my Sidi boots for like $10...

My local Dry Cleaners has replaced the "pull-up" portion of my zipper for a very low cost. I have a textile jacket and just had them put new Velcro strips on my cuffs and clean the jacket. Good seamstress!

So this is the LeeValley one, FixNZip brand, "made in America."

Works pretty good. Looks good.
