Boot fit advice

I got a pair of boots that feel snug. I have worn them around the house for an hour, but they don't seem to be loosening up. Toes are feeling a bit squished, but the length is okay. Should I wait and hope they break in once I'm on the bike, or go up a half size.

Yeah, save yourself the pain and get a bigger size. Plus, the ladies (and some men) like the appearance of bigger feet. *drool* :love4:

What Newman said. I have tcx track boots and a* smx boots and both fit perfectly from minute one. I'd try going back and getting another size

I would go for something that fits good out of the box. Both my pairs of Dainese have fit like a glove since day 1.

this...Dainese's whole sport lineup and the other Italians (Sidi, Alpinestars, TCX etc) use stuff called Lorica which is synthetic leather manufactured by an Italian company. It doesn't stretch or loosen up like the real stuff so try before you buy...

On paper I should have been a 43 in Dainese but I'm a 42 in Pumas I'm 44...

Sounds more like an issue with the width of the boot. I'd go a size up because its hard to find wide arch boots with short feet and apart from alt-berg which my buddy wears, I haven't seen anything else listed with a W in size. Also his are commando style and probably won't fit your outfit, If that matters.

I went up a size and they feel much better! The guys at GPBIKES were very helpful!!! Thanks for the advice! It's nice to know a newbie can ask questions here!!
