G 310r hasnt launched yet in Toronto atleast i called the bmw at toronto they said its probably be coming as 2017 model

One thing with the BMW's is that although maintenance costs maybe more than a Japanese bike, the service intervals tend to be pretty long. Also there are several places outside of the dealerships that have bmw trained mechanics. That will save you on. Maintenance costs
