Bluetooth Headset for Both On and Off Bike

Any suggestions for a bluetooth headset I could use both on and off the bike? I don't need access to the buttons on it while wearing a helmet. Would just rather not buy two devices.

Something like this?

Apart from that, don't really thing there's a better solution, if that works at all. Sena/Scala work because of their noise-cancelling mic's. Bluetooths are cheap these days, maybe you're just gonna have to carry one for when you're off the bike.

Yeah the noise canceling is what I was most concerned about. Jawbone headset are supposed to be more immune to noise, no?

Jawbone's are good, pricey, but good. They have multiple mic's that help isolate sound.

How you'll fit that in a helmet? Not sure. Also, how it'll perform under a helmet? not sure either.

If you get a beanie lid and ride at under 40km/hr, than any headset would work.

Fitting under the helmet was issue #2, lol.

the best bluetooth helmet headset is $40 on ebay, over 300 people bought it in the states, i myself use it.. model V0
supports mp3 steaming ad2p, good volume and i can use SIRI with the mic, that's how awesome it is. Best purchase ever

don't buy other brand that cost well over 100

edit: yes i know you are looking for on and off bt headset, you can just buy a cheapo LG bluetooth headset from factory direct for $5-15 and try it yourself. Some helmets have the ear location cut out so you can put speakers in it, some don't. Check yours, you can always make a incision on the padding at last resort to fit the headset, cuz if you don't, it will hurt quite badly with the bt headset sits between the padding and your ear

I tried using a Blueant Z9i that I had lying around, and it worked OK the first time. Set to answer automatically when calls came in. It's small and I managed to fit the helmet over after two tries. Call quality was muffled, but manageable.

The second time out I couldn't quite get the fit right and abandoned the idea after some fussing. Your mileage may vary.

One of the reasons I love to ride is I don't have to answer the damn phone.

Just sayin'.....

Agreed!

My bikes are too loud to listen to music or talk on the phone... but why the heck would you want that anyways?!

I mostly want it for the voice control of my phone for looking up directions and stuff. I rarely get calls even when I'm not on the bike. Would occasionally be handy, though.
