Blue Book Values & 1st time insurance

Hey there folks,

I am looking to find out the Blue Book on my Kawasaki Vulcan VN750 Yr. 1994.

I picked it up for 1300 and with the holiday weekend have not yet completed ownership.

I plan to get the safety done Tuesday.

I am also wondering if anyone can recommend a good insurance company for a first time owner/rider. I currently have my M1 only and will be taking the M2 safety course IF it impacts my insurance enough, otherwise I have experienced riders training me already.

Thanks.

Sorry I can't help with the Blue book but for insurance you can start here.

You are going to find out that the insurance will cost a lot more than the bike did. Especially a 750 with a M1.
Also you didnt mention if you are over 25 with a Class G for 5 years as this will reduce the cost.

The M2 course wont affect your insurance ( as much as age and rider experience) but very few people will advise that it is not worth the cost.

Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks for the help folks. Got insurance and you are right, there is little difference with/without course being over 25 with no past driving experience. I came out ok anyway, less than I thought it would be.

Guess I will find out the blue book when I complete the ownership.

Safe Riding.
