Bloody high winds...

Agreed. It is mentally exhausting. I'm trying to look ahead and keep my eyes on the horizon but every time I get blown my focus is lost. Wind at night would be deadly.

I had that experience; riding home at 2AM from Woodbridge, on cold, WET roads, with 70kph winds. Just about the scariest riding conditions I've ever been in, because on top of slipping around on the wet road, I felt like if I made any sudden movements/adjustments to counter being blown out of my lane by the wind, the cold/wet road would probably take me down anyway. The good thing was that I was on Hwy 7/main streets, not the highway, and there wasn't much traffic at the time;
