Hi all. I'm sorry if this might be in the wrong forum. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems with this site? I ordered some items on May 2, they told me one of the items was coming form the US. I waited a few days and then sent an email asking if I could substitute that item, as I wanted to get another item sooner. No response. Then I emailed them again yesterday. Again no response. Ive never used this site before, but I'd seen people ordering on here and thought I would join their mailing list to take advantage of one of their sales. I get delays happen, but i'm really not digging the lack of communication. Are other peoples experiences generally good with them or no? Thanks.

I tried several times last week but kept getting a busy signal. I'll try again on Monday.

I wouldn't worry too much. My last order took a while from them (over 2 weeks) but it all got here just fine. Sometimes if they sell you something and have to wait for it to come in from a supplier it can cause delays. These guys have a lot of sales due to their pricing and it doesn't take long to sell out of in store stock and have to wait. They shipped my stuff last friday and it was here monday by noon.

Their communication could use some work, yes. Generally if it hasn't been 2 weeks or so they won't even reply to your e-mails or calls.

They are a stand up company, everything that I ordered eventually arrived.

"some work" is a generous understatement, IMO. Efficient and effective communication to customers is pretty damn important to me, especially if I'm the customer!

I ordered a few things 24 April; emailed them twice to get an invoice because I didn't get one through email, called once but it was busy. It's pretty ridiculous to ignore your customer that's asking for an invoice after they've paid you hundreds of dollars.

I would not shop there again. I don't like the feeling of being kept in the dark.

I agree Karen I dont like the poor communication either. I dont plan on making a fuss about it, but it is bad business. Delays happen, but communication is important. I'd say I wouldnt order from there again, but some of these fire sales might be hard to resist, lol.

For what it's worth I emailed them 10 days after and they replied right away. My last purchase was during their half off everything sale and I heard the amount of orders was staggering.

I sent back some boots for an exchange for another size. Hadn't heard anything for a bit, e-mailed them, got a reply pretty quickly. I think they have been overwhelmed with orders. I'm willing to cut them quite a bit of slack considering they are selling stuff at some pretty good prices. I'll order again from them no problem.

Well its been 15 days now. No response to two emails. My patience is wearing thin. I asked them either for an approximate delivery date or a refund. If I continue to be stonewalled I'm doing a chargeback next week. I get they are busy but its not really my problem.

Being busy is never a good reason for any business to ignore customer concerns. I am amazed at the acceptance of some people towards the terrible service they receive in exchange for their money. I for one refuse to stand idly by while any business ignores me before ore more importantly after money has been exchanged. I am all for all the people that rally up to "support the local" business but maybe as a whole it is time to support any business that supports its customers.

So, my last email got their attention and the guy called me. They didnt even have my order right. My original order had some socks in it. He called me that day to tell me they stopped selling them, so I substituted a (more expensive) t-shirt I didnt really want just to get the free shipping. On the same date, they told me there would be a delay because of one of the sets of gloves needed to be sent from the US. Fine. Now when he called he told me he has had the gloves and was waiting to hear back from me about what I wanted to substitute the socks with. (Did I mention I emailed them this and sent two follow up emails that got no answer?). Anyway, since threatening a chargeback they are doing right by the situation and are just sending the gloves, and refunding me for the socks, or shirt or whatever they have on file. So thats ok. But for anyone patiently waiting and not getting anywhere I would not leave it to good faith. The guy sounds like a nice enough guy on the phone, but I doubt I'll be making any more purchases from them.

Gawd. I just emailed them to tell them the same. 3 weeks and utter silence. If I were not on GTAM I would just think they are scammers who took my money and ran. I agree that I can only support them and be understanding up to a certain point. Completely ignoring customers for 3 weeks = unacceptable. If they're really getting that much more business surely they can afford to hire someone to at least respond to emails.

They aren't the most communicative of organisations but everything is still fine with my orders. I just made another order with the 25% off deal and got an email the next day telling me where things are coming from and approximate delivery dates. One of the dates is in June but that's fine, it's something I don't need straight away. This is my third order from them and I kind of have a "deal extreme" mentality which is, the price is good enough so I'll be patient.

For now I'm still happy enough to keep ordering. I have nothing to do with the company but as I posted up the original 50% off deal a while ago I'm sorry to hear a few of you are unhappy.

Since the 50% sale, I ordered a few more things from them (knox back protector, shoei Qwest) and they were processed within a day. The back protector shipped the next day and the helmet was shipped 2 days after my order, arriving the following day to my house.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones that has their stuff go through. My order on the 50% sale DID take a couple of weeks to get to me, but for the price, I could have easily waited twice that and still be happy.

I too have tried to make contact about my order (made Apr.5 with the 50% promo) and have heard nothing from them. I have some hope that I will get the Scala set I ordered because people are getting their product, but will never order from them in the future.

And here is why they keep doing what they do, why spend money on proper customer service if customers keep on taking it up the butt because they get better prices?

I would never shop at a place like that again.

They emailed back within 30 mins of my email saying I would call my cc for a charge back if they didn't respond to my email by Tuesday. I honestly didn't care if I got the pants from them at that point; lots of places sell them and discounts aren't uncommon. I'd rather spend 20 more dollars on a vendor that'll communicate properly.

I was thinking it might be worth a trip to the store itself for a future purchase. In the end though money is money and even though it was a bit of a wait my stuff arrived perfectly packaged and a LOT cheaper than anywhere else.
