Bike won't start! Rode to work now in the afternoon after doing an errand it stalled.

It a BMW R1200c 1998

So after completing the errand I started it up came out of the parking a few feet, the bike stuttered and shut down.

Has Gas, the battery and starter turn over, not in gear or with the side stand down.

In January as I was doing the oil leak issue I had the similar problem turned out to be the rotor with Hall effect gate I had installed wrong, but after correcting that bike had been fine.

How much riding have you got in this year? Any chance there was a bit of water in the tank that just made it through to the engine? (Quite unlikely assuming your commute in was more than a few minutes).

I've had been riding this bike once or twice every month even in January to March, since the weather has been great. I rode in today from Scarborough to Downtown Toronto and this happened around lunch time.

Thanks but no, the shut off switch on this is opposite of ON and I've played with it a few time already trying to start her up.
