Bike won't Start ! Help

Has nothing to do with power. One operates the choke position, the other returns it to normal ( or off)

So having the choke DOWN (ON) injects more fuel n is good for cold day starts....n while riding when the bike is warmed up its recommended to push it UP (OFF) again.... Did I get that right ! OR u mean while riding it doesn't matter... bear with me Im new to this stuff

First glad that you got it started. I don't understand something though. Katoch you found a black wire near the battery, once it was connected the bike started. We think this wire was the ground for the PC which implies a fuel injected bike. but you're saying that there's a choke? Chokes are only on carburated bikes.

Just to clear things up...... Yes, the bike is fuel injected. And the lever is not a choke cable. It is a Fast Idle lever. When cold, the lever needs to be in the down position. When the bike in warmed up, or at normal operation temperatures, it is to remain in the up position.

Hang on a sec - 2003 GSXR's are fuel injected, yet the 600cc bikes still have a level that looks like a choke.. it's actually a fast idle switch.

Is your bike carbureted? are you sure?

Got my answer. Thanks !

I was wondering as well. Plus Power Commanders are only needed for fuel injected vehicles. With carbs usually a rejet is done...I think.
