Bike purchase

Congrats on the purchase and not listening to what your friends said.

Didnt realize the difference in top speed between the CBR125 and Ninja 250 was only 20-30km/h O_O

Big difference is in how fast they get there.

LOL. Well I can tell you that I won't be try to get to 170 that's for sure. God that must feel crazy. I'll be using it mostly for city driving.

did 160 170 many times easy on 401, i have seen speedometer hitting 200 on downhill once on my 250 ninja full tuck with racing gear no passenger lol :) , im 5.9 , 150ibs .

I would assumed they would otherwise I would say it would be a waste of $2000 more lol.

Downside to the 125 is that you're not going to be able to accelerate fast when you're already going 100+ and you'll have trouble maintaining 120 on an uphill or heavy winds from the front. If you plan on riding mostly city roads, and very little highway, I would say go for the 125 is fine but if you find that you'll be taking the highway a few times a week and can afford a bigger bike, go for the 250cc+ options.

Being 5'10 - 5'11ish 150lbs I can hold 130 on flat roads with no wind or with decent airflow from other traffic on the highway. 135-140km/h on downhills. Bike is all stock parts except for a -1 tooth front sprocket.
