Best shop in the GTA for helmet selection.

I went to Royal Distributing in Guelph today looking for a higher end helmet but couldn't find anything I liked or that fit properly. I don't want to buy over the internet, I prefer to try it on before I buy. So which shop has the best selection?

I also noticed that royal in durham only sells low end helmets.
If it were me I would try some helmets on at your local dealer ( gp or kahuna) to get your sizing and buy off ebay......you will save a couple of hundred dollars on a shoei or arai helmet if that is what you are looking for.

Also try Pannon Sports in Streetsville.
Google Shark helmets,then go in and see what Pannon Sports has to offer.

If you don't mind going for a ride up to Lindsay one day...

I have had good luick with HB Cycle & Outdoor Sports...they have a good selection and will bring in helmets for you to try for sizing....

Bought a couple there...and a couple off the internet.

depending on the type...full face, modular etc you could try docs leathers on queen street or parker brothers on kipling. friend got his at kahuna and said he would go back there.

Try GP Bikes in Whitby... they have helmets from nearly every popular manufacturer, although I don't recall seeing any European brands there lately (but then again, I haven't been looking for them.) Good for you for supporting the local businesses rather than buying from the big US stores off the internet, btw!

Went back up to Royal in Guelph and found one that fits my head and bike perfectly. Thanks for all of your replies.

I look online for a helmet I like (www.thehelmetzone.com) then call around to see who has the model (to try on for sizing) then I worry about who can get me the best price with the graphics I want.

GP bikes hands down. They got the best selection in my opnion and have all the high end brands but thats a bit of a drive if you're out west of Toronto
