anyone have any ideas for a good motorcycle financing place( new or used) not A credit either or else that would be easy.

Not to put a damper on your dreams, but if I were you I would seriously consider not financing/not buying at this time. Any financial expert will tell you that financing a non-essential item (and lets face it, motorcycles are just big boy toys) is a poor use of your hard earned money. It's a simple rule: If you can't afford to buy it, don't. Somethings you have to finance ie: house, car, as you need good, safe, reliable ones and lets face it, few of us have the money to buy either cash. But when it comes to a toy, be it a new TV or a motorcycle, you should always wait until you can pay for it cash. Financing a motorcycle is like saying to the salesman, "I see the price of the bike is $10,000, I'd rather pay more."

Some good suggestions in this thread if you are set on getting a loan to buy it. But this is advice should not be skipped over. You can save your monthly payments and have the chash in no time.

DO NOT buy a motorcycle on credit... you're just wasting money

save up and then buy... keep the interest you would have paid and spend it on yourself.

+1

As I mentioned in another thread, where it clearly went over the OP's head, motorcycles are also maintenance heavy, much more so than cars. Gear is also very expensive. Point is, if you can't afford a motorcycle upfront then you won't be able to afford the maintenance or gear over time. It's just a difference between going into heavy negatives immediately or slowly getting there.

EDIT: Wait a sec, you've owned 5 bikes already? I guess you know what you're getting yourself into lol

There is some good advice and yes have had many a bikes. Never financed but had some unexpected things to take care of took my stash cash for a bike. So yes I could save, but by then will be mid season, so I figured why not finance. My 05 car of paid for, have no credit card at all( yes im serious), have my mortgage and bills but 2 cars and no payments on either.

This is why i was inquiring about financing. Now go to you're room!

Check out Suzuki. I think they offer zero % finance. My advise, finance your heart out so long as you can make payments and buy that option they give you in case you cannot work. They pay monthly payment until you get a job. Something like that.

Lack of credit card might actually hurt you in this situation, as lenders typically want to see history of different types of credit (open line of credit, loans with monthly pay schedules, credit card usage etc). I know exactly the position you're in as I will be in the same situation next spring when I hit 25. I am smart with my money and know financing a non necessity is a no no, but like you, my fiance and I own our cars outright, have a mortgage, pay our bills on-time. I still do plan on financing a bike as to me the "right now" enjoyment is worth the extra interest paid provided you obtain a decent interest rate on a loan or line of credit.

Unless you're buying new and plan on keeping the bike for a long time, I would recommend staying away from the long term payment schedules of 60 months+. Pay it off as quick as comfortably possible and enjoy your bike.

I got a loan for a brand new bike from Airline Financial Credit Union C.U. they gave me 4.9%

Wonder if I can refinance my car with them. That rate is lower than what I got through Subaru (they used RBC). Will be looking into this company for my next purchase. Everyone told me to use my line of credit and I think my interest rate is higher than this one.

how is your credit?

I think my credit is fine. This is my first loan. Im just 22 years old. I got a part time job. People say that financing is bad but I think the most important stuff is to get a low interest rate. At the end I will be paying $400 on top of the motorcycle price.

Principal loan payments + interest + insurance + gas + maintainance > your ****** part time job. Don't take that offensively, but at the very least but your bike full out. Save money. Your paying someone extra because you can't wait and that's just win stupid.

If this is your first loan your credit rating is probably bad. Must be some part time job you've got.
