Bent Rim

A friend of mine has unfortunately received a bent front rim.... We've heard that "The Guy" for fixing bent rims is in Toronto but never really heard who s/he is or in what shop.

Any one here have someone they highly recommend for this job? What would a reasonable price be?

Not sure it matters but its the front rim (OEM) on a Daytona 675.

Thanks in advance!

Most of the shops that used to fix bent rims won't do it anymore. The only one i know that still will is Maximum Cycle in London but you can probably find a straight used one online for what it'll cost you to get it straightened.

its $210+ tax to straighten a rim at maximum cycle in london....

And the rim loses strength when it gets bent back.

Much better to buy an undamaged used rim.

I have had 3 wheels successfully straightened by Maximum, and one front rotor.

ive used "alloy rim repair" they are mobile as well and can come to you. ive had them to car wheels before for under $150
