I've used a "Battery Tender" maintainer for years. They work great, just "set and forget". My experience is that I get at least double the life out of my batteries since using one.

Dang... I didn't even think to check CT when I bought my Battery Tender Jr from Kahuna. I spent nearly twice as much on that little wall-wart. Should work just fine on your bike.

I used it, and swear by it. It brought life back to my bike battery over the winter

I've been using the C-Tek one from CT for 2 winters now. No complaints here.

Yes, buy it and use it all year, not just for winter storage. I replaced my '02 battery last May or June after 8 years of use. It wasn't failing, but I had several long trips planned, the old one owed me nothing and and a new one from Pete's was about $90 delivered. A tender will add years to battery life IMHO

Battery tenders are great, just plug it in for the winter and it's set. and it's not expensive either!
