Get a bike with a nice exhaust, you'll understand.

Meh doubtful, I have my headphones on most of the time anyway with the volume low enough that I can hear the bike and my surroundings in a muted fashion so different exhaust wouldn't mean much to me.

Even off the bike it's rare I have my headphones off; having them on keeps people from doing silly things like trying to talk to me.

Also a side note, don't ride with anyone you meet downtown. They usually do stupid **** along the way. (Everything from filtering to going beyond 200kph)

Well I can't go 200 kph my max was 145 on highway once so I'm safe there but yeah I don't ride *with* anyone, I just follow a bit and observe, see if there's anything I can pick up but I stay within my limits.

Tunnel: Personal enjoyment :D Guilty of that too. But with a helmet on, the engine noise is muffled already.

It just seems like every biker has a point to prove that "they live on the edge". Too much attitude. You're just dressed like on a power ranger on a bike with half the engine displacement of a prius.

Anyone prefer just riding solo?

Each time I head home down yonge street, bikers seem to love to open the throttle on young and dundas at the traffic light. I know its all about having fun and having a sense of humor, but this douch-ness is just ridiculous. Ive stopped waving all together as I can spot a ****** a mile away.

What happened to all the down to earth riders just wanting to ride? Or is it just about showing off?

Sorry for the vent.. extremely rough day and gixers on yonge just bug me.
What's with the Handle? SlayeroFSouls??? what does that even mean? you seem very dramatic on your ways!

I am a noob and I stopped looking at the pavement by the end of the MSC and I stopped panicking after the pavement came by and said "hi I miss you looking at me, let me give you a hug" on my 5th day of riding.

Now I'm just working on taking turns without going a bit wide or slowing down, been using Lakeshore for now since the turns aren't too bad. :P

I don't really understand what's fun about just sitting there revving your engine though.

Also I don't start at people going real fast, I usually try to follow :laughing5: (within reason.)

Had a buddy, 3 weeks into riding, go down last week because he was following me up a ramp. I think he was looking at me, tried to go faster, then looked at the grass on the left and into the grass he went =/

Pfft. I've done that twice. Crashed out two friends baiting them to follow me thru the twisties!

I've out douched the ******! What do I win????

One of the major reasons I enjoy riding is because its a solo event. I avoid group rides like the plague.

lol, I can laugh at the event now but when I think back to it I really shouldn't have been leading.

SALTS - I'm not even kidding. I also do the engine reving thing a lot when there are hot peeps around (not just to hear the rev limiter, it's more like attention deficit) and am a total cherrypicker with slo-mos.

It's so much fun. Awesomeness

I can't tell if you're joking or not but last time I bounced the rev limiter for a hot girl she screamed =(

You should totally just stick to dudes. They would definitely know it's nothing to scream over.
