5:30pm ..ish today....so about dusk....starting to rain.
Northbound on Don Mills approaching Duncan Mills intersection. It's green so no one slows down. I'm in the middle lane and a cage just ahead of me in the right lane hits something, so bits of stuff is flying into the air. I prepare to dodge and see something brown fly 10 feet into the air. I assume it's a cardboard box. Nope. Someone decided to cross against the light.
It was Bambi.
Upside down 10 feet in the air and as I passed I could smell her.
I've had deer cross in front of me on Maj. Mac but the middle of town? The GTA really does have a lot of green space.
Someone should move the deer crossing signs...oh wait there isn't one on Don Mills.
