Departed Bath at 8:00 am to beat the heat as it was already 20 degrees with a predicted high of 30.
Mostly good pavement with one stretch of unpaved for about 3 kilometres.
Being rural one had to be cautious of big lumps of dirt (and other nasty stuff) on the pavement left by tractors/farm equipment.
This is most common just before a sharp corner.
Caution must be taken when leaving one road and turning onto another (50 this loop)
Gravel and sand is often on the road in the intersections.
On the plus side the trees close or overgrowing the road give shady relief on hot sunny days.
A majority of the roads where new to me.
There was a few kilometres of freshly chipped roads.
After all it is "construction", that season between mosquitos and snow!

I don't think I am on the 401 anymore!!! Marysville Rd on way to Lonsdale (click for link)

I am sure glad I have my Pirelli Scorpion 2 Dual purpose tires. 95% street 5% off road

Was this once cleared land a 100 years ago?

Nice to have shade on a hot sunny day.
