Anyone tried these frame sliders?

If you crack your case in a crash on the road you can't pick up your bike, brush yourslef off and ride home (didn't elaborate in the last post).

Same here!

Have LSLs on my bike. Did a small crash at Cayuga track last season.

The slider took the brunt, then snapped off, but nothing got wrecked. Just popped the turn signal back on, cleaned her up, and I was back out again. :)

Ordered my replacements from Tony at BSR. :)

Thanks for the input guys. I didnt know that the frame sliders were there to protect the engine etc..my purpose for wanting them was so that if I make the noob mistake of dropping it at standstill / <10km/hr, the cosmetic damage to the fairings would be minimized. I've decided to go for the cheap ones (see first post), because since it is a Ninja 250r, everyone tells me I will want to upgrade to something more powerful soon, so I don't want to dump too much money into it. After spending thousands on the bike/gear/insurance..I'm trying my best to get this thing on the road on a budget. I'll post a review of the build quality of the eBay frame sliders once I get them.
