Anyone skipping trackdays the yesr due to $$$?

I double checked my numbers.... It is not 4k, but around 2500. By accident I included my street bike cost.

I usually book 7 track days, 4 at Shannonville, 1 Mosport, and 2 at Calabogie. Shannonville is a good value as I don't need a motel. Calabogie is awesome and worth every penny, but the $100 a night motel, track cost and gas really add up.

As for credit, I use it all the time , but NEVER keep a balance. If I can't pay it in full, I can't afford it.

You think trackdays are expensive, wait til you get the repair and insurance bills on those choices.

I under stand what you are saying, but insurance is reasonable for me (age, driving record, and location) I pay $1200 a year for my 01 530.

As for repair, I was a BMW tech, so the only cost is parts.

True, I don't need to do Calabogie, but I would rather skip 3 trackdays at Shannonville, for 1 day at Calabogie. It is THAT nice.

I dont wanna know what i spend on track days/gas/hotels/food etc .. that is one SCARY number.

I can tell you, next to nothing....last year!
