Anyone riding on Rice Lake or know the schedule?

Have my studded Honda at a buddy's close to Rice Lake. We're hoping to enjoy some sloppy seconds on a Monday after Sunday racing.

Anyone know when they plow a track and race?

Ditto for pics. And an event review as well, if you can manage to type it out with frozen fingers…

Especially ice racing! Remember it used to be a thing in the 70’s, back when lakes would still freeze in winter. Thought it was all but a memory now in Ontario.

Depending on how thick the snow cover is, you may not have to wait for them to plow it.

I've been ice-riding over a lake with an inch or two of snow cover, still amazing grip. Anything much more than that will bog the wheels though.

Definitely not, I was a spectator at rice lake back in the early 2010s?

Was anxious parking my car on the lake but was a field of pickup trucks so figured my Toyota echo was fine.

Yep. Grew up out west in the 70’s and lakes would freeze over and be turned into new roads.
Never forget driving across them with the doors open closer to spring. People took more chances then I guess
