if you factor the taxes and insure the frt (its a 15k load) and then have it power tailgated to your location, instead of terminal drop (whos riding it home in Dec?) and your at 1500 give or take. Dont forget the fuel surcharge, they show that later on the invoice. I do this business a lot.
If your moving a 3k Honda 600 its a different story.

i emailed him and made the offer with a provision that he tell me a local shop that knows the bike so i can speak to them about the bikes condition. he didnt respond anymore after that. i did look up the bike on the net and see it has been for sale a few times in the last 3 years so maybe it has an issue. if i hear back i will let you know but im losing interest based on no response from him
any other bikes around?

He responded , turned down my offer at this time he said...says there are 2 people in BC interested in it. Next!

I'm going to the vintage motorcycle auction in Vegas Jan 10. MidAmerica and Bonhams both have an auction running, past january highlights were steve mcqueens indian and huquvarna desert racer and a collection of Vincents. A lot of stuff that went to museums and guys that had a bigger bar tabs than I had budget.
Google the auction catalog and send me a bank draft and I'll "shop" for you.
