I was driving down mount pleasant when the drizzle started. I stopped under a bridge and quickly through on my rain suit. Good thing I did, because about 2 minutes later it was coming down hard!
Driving up the hill on Mt. Pleasant was like driving up a small waterfall. The water coming down must have been a good 2-3 inches deep. The streets were flooded all over leaside as the storm sewers couldn't handle that much water so quickly.
To the guys on the GS500(i think) that stopped to see if I needed help while I was putting my rain gear on, hope you made it to your destination okay!
The VFR800 handles suprisingly well in 10 inch deep water.
