As mentioned in a post on the Cruising board I'm looking to buy a DL650 but I've never ridden one.

I'd like to swap bikes for a short ride just to make sure it fits me. I'm a mature rider with the grey hair to prove it. I'd give you the choice of my 1200 GoldWing or my KLR650.

Any takers?

I don't know what year you're looking for, but I doubt you would be able to get a much better deal on a newish one than this:

Since it's a dealership, they should let you test ride it.

Called Hully Gully and it sounded like a lot of song and dance to get a test ride. $500 deposit plus having a signed agreement of sale or some such nonsense. They don't make you jump hoops like that to test drive a car.

You just need to sort the ergos - go sit on the that one. It's not a bad deal given the luggage IF you are intent on the Strom.
