The gas is flowing out from overflow hose so it might be carb clog anyone know if it could be that or not. If so any help in cleaning them out would be appreciated. Thanks
1. You could have a hole in the float causing it not to float all the way up or the adjustment is off. All you have to do is take the bole off and pull the float pin out and shake the float by your ear. If you here gas inside replace your float. If not replace it and hold the float all the way up and make sure the float needle is able to seal the port completely.
2. Fuel level in the float bowl is set to high.
3. Leaking float needle - spec of dirt holding it open, or needs to be replaced.
4. Float bowl drain screw can be loose and not sealing - tighten, or replace it.
i had gas flowing from my over flows twice and in both cases it was the float that was at fault.
the petcock under your tank turn it off, if the the gas still over flows then the valve is faulty. if it stops when off and only leaks when in on position then i would bet its your floats
at this point it is best to pull your carbs, take the jets and float off and soak them in carb cleaner like seafoam overnight.
-make sure your air filter is dry
-make sure that gas has no filled into your cylinder(s)
- if it has take you spark plugs out, lift the back tire, put the bike in gear and turn the back tire with your hand the gas will fly out if your spark plug holes everywhere as the pistons do ine rotation
