I should explain. My use for this is mainly testing pneumatically driven vacuum handling components. This is what I do for work.
Vacuum generators, vacuum cups etc. customers send sample materials and we're able to test, make video and hopefully sell the solution.

Won't be using it for any drilling, sanding, painting.
 
You may also need a disconnect beside the compressor and I always do the final connection using stranded wire in a seal tight flex. The constant vibration of the compressor tends to loosen the wire terminations, stranded wire is less susceptible to this than solid wire.
 
Most DC sanding grinding tools are run through an AC/DC converter built into a plug in
@Jampy , my main business these days is selling wood panel products , MDF, melamine’s and plywood , up to five x twelve ft . I see the pneumatic vacuum handing lifts daily . Not needing four guys to move a panel was an industry game changer .

Finding four guys that want to lift anything these days is a challenge.

…and I’m intrigued by your Toni Tennile connection, she was actually quite attractive in her day.
 
I did not know , but found out when we went to meet her after a show in Arizona, she was a Diva to the gay community, like Cher and Barbara Streisand . They came out in mass to her shows . And yes she was a looker in her youth .
Near the end of her performing days , she did a fundraiser for the local highschool music dept when she moved to Prescott Arizona. Imagine a gal that sold out stadiums doing a high school stage and belting out torch songs from the forties . Ton of fun.

Teck, once again, to the rescue... but that **** is my hot sauce; I'll run in anywhere. LOL

100% concur, size for load and voltage drop (if applicable) - mount a disconnect on the wall nearby, then a whip (liquitight or FMC) to the compressor.
