American Suzuki files for bankruptcy

"The auto division sold about 5,500 units in Canada last year."

That's it? I'm surprise they haven't filed for bankruptcy.

My grand vitara has been good. It's a solid little suv. I recently went to get another one, but found out they stopped selling the V6 a couple of years ago. Too bad...

According to http://www.monster-sport.com/ppihc/e/team/index.html he was running an SX4 with a V6 and twin turbo. Not the I4 150 HP engine. You literally just told me in another thread that the SX4 is not a sports car and a turbo would be useless. Now you're contradicting yourself... anyway, everyone is welcome to their opinion. I liked the SX4 just didn't quite do it for me.
Yes you are correct it is not he I4 150 hp engine from the SX4 platform . Honestly I that monster SX4 engine is a works factory only engine. I was just trying to state some of the accomplishments for this company with all the negative comments I've been reading here. I agree suzuki's not built in Japan sucked. Sure they aren't anything special, but lemons they are not. I agree they did not market properly with only 4 models, but what other company builds cars and bikes? Honda, they figured out like Toyota to set up shop in N. America because of the Yen. They are not hurting in the rest of the world it seems. I own 2 of these SX4's now and kinda feel betrayed even though my warranty is up.
I was surprised I must say that they are this big. Hey I don't want no trouble.
