Just a thought - instead of paying for overpriced tickets to watch overpaid professional athletes why not go to your local rink or ball diamond and watch the local house league kids play ? Maybe buy the teams a hot chocolate or and ice cream after. I'll guarantee it'll be a lot of fun and a whole lot less out of your pocket.

We watch the Waterloo Siskins every sunday. It's a blast! $10.

I am a big supporter of rugby. My wife played and both daughters played high level - Ontario 7's/15's, University, and of course club. If my agenda is empty there is nothing like a ride to Brantford Harlequins RFC to watch a couple of rugby games on a sunny day.

When Rugby World Cup, Six Nations or HSBC World 7's are going on I am usually at the Burlington RFC sipping a cold beer watching the game!

My teams......it's complicated:
Men's 15's I'm an All Blacks - saw them live twice (once in Wellington against France) and I'm converted!
Men's 7's I'm RSA
Women's 7's I'm Team Canada
Women's 15's I'm Team Canada all the way (my daughters played with several of the players)
